NATIONALLY TELEVISED SHOW CELEBRATING SPORTSMANSHIP IN AMERICA RETURNS TO STIFEL THEATRE ON NOV. 18

ST. LOUIS – May 17, 2023 – The Musial Awards presented by Maryville University have become the traditional kick-off to the holiday season, combining inspiration, entertainment, and heartwarming stories that restore hope in humanity.  Tickets for the nationally televised event which honors the year’s greatest moments of sportsmanship and those in sports who embody class and character go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow (May 18) through Ticketmaster.  The event returns to the historic Stifel Theatre in Downtown St. Louis on Saturday, Nov. 18.  Showtime is 7 p.m.

Musial Awards tickets range from $10 to $35.  In addition to individual awards show tickets, the Musial Awards offers a special Honoree Circle ticket, which includes orchestra level seating just behind the honoree section, a pass to the Musial Awards After Party and reserved parking for $125. Taking place annually in St. Louis on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the Musial Awards celebrate the year’s greatest moments of sportsmanship and those in sports who embody class and character. The national event and its awards are named for Baseball Hall of Famer and St. Louis Cardinals legend Stan Musial, who was the ultimate good sport.  2022 Stan Musial Lifetime Achievement Award winner and baseball legend Albert Pujols said of the Musial Awards, “This is an awesome night.”

The Musial Awards will air throughout the country on CBS in December.  The 2022 Musial Awards broadcast on CBS averaged more than 1.8 million viewers.  This is the fifth consecutive year the network will broadcast the most important awards in sports.

The recipients of the 2023 Musial Awards will be announced in October.
